Frequently asked questions
What should I have ready before I call?
A rough description of the project, the discipline you need, the stage you are at and your key dates. Any drawings, sketches or specifications help too, but they are not essential for a first conversation.
Who will I be dealing with?
You deal directly with the engineer handling your project, so there is no message passed down a chain. Enquiries come through to Paul on 07511 962 098 or paul@pdengcon.co.uk.
Can I send drawings with my enquiry?
Yes. The enquiry form has an upload for a drawing or specification. If your files are large, phone or email first and we will agree the best way to send them.
Do you visit site?
Site visits can be arranged around your programme, particularly for projects in and around Luton, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Greater London. Mention it when you get in touch so we can plan the timing.
Areas we cover
We work from the Kensworth office near Luton and cover Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Greater London, along with the surrounding towns such as Dunstable, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and Milton Keynes. If your project sits further afield, ask — a lot of design work can be done remotely with site visits arranged around your programme.
Send your project details
Use the enquiry form to send everything in one go. It asks for:
- Your name and company
- Email and phone number
- The discipline you need — mechanical, electrical, structural and steelwork, architectural metalwork, project management or automation and controls
- Project stage, from early feasibility through to design for construction
- Your programme dates, including any fixed deadlines
- A short message about the project
- An upload for a drawing, sketch or specification
The more you attach, the more specific our reply can be.
Where to find us
Unit 1C, Packhorse Industrial Estate, Kensworth, Luton, LU6 3QL.
Kensworth sits just off the Dunstable Downs, a short drive from Luton and Dunstable and close to the A5 and M1. A map is shown on this page so you can plan your route. Please get in touch before visiting so we know to expect you.
How quickly you will hear back
Enquiries are answered as soon as possible, and every message gets a reply from the person who would actually work on your job — not a call centre. If your enquiry is urgent because of a site date, say so at the top of your message and phone as well as emailing.
